Lobbying Workshop
Join us on April 25th for an opportunity to develop your lobbying skills with experts from the Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL)! In this 75 minute workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of advocating for environmental policies and will be guided through a lobbying simulation.

Mock Legislation for Lobbying Simulation
During the workshop, participants will partake in a lobbying simulation to fine-tune their advocacy skills. In the simulation, you will be lobbying for the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. Refer to the details on the left to familiarize yourself with this act's content and what it would achieve, if passed by Congress.
Mock Congressman for Lobbying Simulation
In the Lobbying Simulation, you will join a mock meeting with mock Bay Area Congressman Ro Khanna, in which you will practice your lobbying skills by advocating for the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act. In the past, Khanna has supported legislature such as Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal and the 21st Century Jobs Act. Additionally, he is one of few Representatives that publicly states that he does not accept contributions from Political Action Committees or corporations.
